The Haws 3511FR dual, barrier-free, black powder-coated aluminum drinking fountain is mounted on an antique-style pedestal, and is adaptable for outdoor installation where the temperature can fall below freezing. The pedestal is made of cast aluminum and has a powder coating that offers more protection from corrosion and wear than paint. The two bowls are made of high-polished 18-gauge stainless steel 304 for resistance to corrosion. The chrome-plated push buttons are activated with less than 5lb. of pressure. The shielded bubbler heads and waste strainers are made of chrome-plated brass for resistance to corrosion and vandalism, and the bubbler heads provide an even laminar stream flow to reduce splashing. A pneumatic valve system (sold separately) placed in the ground below the frost line allows the fountain to operate in freezing conditions. This pedestal-mounted drinking fountain complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California Health and Safety Code 116875 (AB 1953-2006), and meets National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard 61 and the federal Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) regulations for lead-free waterways. It also has a Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Group certification. This drinking fountain requires a water pressure between 30 and 90 pounds per square inch (psi), a 1-1/2" OD (outside diameter) waste line, and a supply line size of 1/2" OD for operation. For complete drinking fountain dimensions, please refer to the manufacturer installation drawing.Drinking fountains produce a stream of water for drinking and are usually in public places. They typically consist of a metal nozzle called a bubbler head that provides an even stream of drinking water, a metal bowl to collect and drain water, a stream control mechanism such as a push button, and a pedestal or wall-mounted support that holds these components at an accessible height. Drinking fountains that provide a refrigerated water stream are called water coolers. Public fountains are subject to federal regulations for accessibility by disabled persons and various government health standards.Haws Corporation manufactures drinking fountains, electric water coolers, hydration stations, and emergency equipment. The company, founded in 1906 and is headquartered in Sparks, NV, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001.What"s in the Box?Pedestal with bowls(2) Bubbler head assemblies(2) Waste strainers(2) Push-button assemblies
