SpiderTech PowerStrips are precut strips of kinesiology tape, already cut in the most widely-used configurations - the X Strip, the Y Strip and the I Strip. The SpiderTech Tape Y Strip has a lengthwise serration extending from one end toward a solid anchor end. When the "tails" are separated and applied, the taping resembles the letter Y. When a muscle is injured, fatigued or weakened, the base of the Y is applied below the muscle, with the tails applied around the perimeter. With the backing on, the SpiderTech Y PowerStrip is 2" wide by 8" long, The tape has 140% elasticity, making it versatile enough to apply to areas like the arm, thigh, neck, back, ankle or calf. Because the tape is machine cut, the edges are smooth and the corners are rounded. This reduces the fraying and curling that can occur when kinesio tape is hand cut from a roll using scissors. The perforated backing is divided into numbered sections making application simple, even for those who are new to kinesiology taping. Y Strips can be used alone or combined with X Strips and/or I Strips. All SpiderTech products are made from premium Nitto Denko SpiderTape, and can be worn 3-5 days.
