These connectors allow you to connect 2 cut segments of our single colored SMD 3528 LED strip lights together, for a continuous and gapless connection. This connector can also be used to continue an existing strip farther by attaching more LED"s: cut each strip on the clearly marked cut line, connect the cut led strips, and you"ll be able to continue your LED strip. To use: First unlatch the white connector, then gently slide the ribbon into the connector (make sure that the positive side on the connector matches up with the positive side on the strip) and close the white connector. Note that if the backing protecting the adhesive on the back of the ribbon has been removed, the ribbon will be a little thinner than usual, and the connector may not hold the ribbon as effectively. If that is the case, or if the connector won"t grab the ribbon for any reason, just put a small piece of masking or other tape on the back of the ribbon to make it thicker so the connector can hold it with more contact on the strip"s connection port. Do not put the tape on the top of the ribbon or the connector won"t connect properly. If you experience trouble with the connectors try connecting them when the strip"s power is on (The strips use low-voltage DC current that is not harmful to the touch!), this will allow you to see when the connectors are working because the connected strip will light up. Once the connection is functional, simply latch each white clasp to make it a lasting connection
