The décor Indigo moves freely and with ease across the porcelain and unravels here and there, like a favourite piece of clothing. Reliefs from three centuries of European porcelain history meet on this CENTURIES MIRASOL saucer. The elegantly curved, scalloped rim is not only pleasing to the eye but also provides a secure resting place for the spoon so it does not slide under the cup. The rosette in the centre of the saucer holds the feet of cups with different sizes. The idea of CENTURIES was to reinterpret familiar motifs and textures and to integrate them into contemporary Kahla porcelain concepts. In CENTURIES EPOQUE, historical handles meet porcelain of the present day. Rich dynamic ornamentation marries purist forms. From the Kahla design books we chose motifs that with playfully ironic ease add a little lustre of bygone times to the crisp 21st century shapes. CENTURIES was awarded two international design awards. Kahla porcelain is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
