Once Your Estes Maxi Alpha 3 reaches a maximum altitude of 700 feet (213 m) the Estes Parachute will deploy and slowly return the Rocket for a safe recovery. Re-pack the parachute, load in some Recovery Wadding, slip in a new Estes Engine and get ready for another exciting Estes Model Rocket launch * The Estes Alpha 3 Requires the Estes Maxi Launch Rod * Launching the Alpha 3 Model Rocket on E engines requires the E Launch Controller and Porta-Pad E Launch Pad.You must be 18 years of age to purchase E engines. * E Launch Controller, Porta-Pad E Launch Pad are not required for rockets that are launched with D Series rocket engines.
