If you are a resort or home owner and you have sand on your waterfront, it is likely you need to sift debris from the sand to keep it clean. This is our manual version of the Shake"n Rake for smaller cleaning duties. Very low cost makes it a great value for sifting your sand.PLEASE READ!! Sand is VERY difficult to sift. It is surprisingly heavy and only a small portion can be sifted at a time. If there is any moisture, the sand will compact and will NOT fall through the screen, regardless of how vigorously it is agitated. Generally only the top inch or two of sand can be cleaned, deeper sifting requires more work then a screened rake can do. If you have a small area, with completely dry sand and the debris is on the surface, then this screened rake is very effective. However; it has limitations because of the effort required for the human to agitate it.
