The 3B Scientific A82 life-size human knee joint model is used for anatomical study of joint movement, and is flexible for demonstrating abduction, anteversion, retroversion, and internal/external rotation motions. The model consists of portions of the femur, tibia, and fibula; a meniscus, and a patella with a quadriceps tendon and joint ligaments, including the ACL and PCL. The A82 is mounted on a removable stand for display, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons.
