LIMITED COLLECTORS EDITION RELEASE... the original soundtrack to LOVE AND TREASON, the 2001 television movie produced by Mace Neufeld, directed by Lewis Teague, starring Kim Delaney as a naval officer who gets caught up in a plot involving military secrets and extortion as a result of her ex-husband escaping from prison. The music for LOVE AND TREASON is composed by Basil Poledouris. After a successful collaboration with the composer on THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, producer Mace Neufeld turned to Basil Poledouris again to write the music for this project. While not an orchestral score, LOVE AND TREASON has all the qualities that make Basil Poledouris such a great composer. Fans of the composer’s work will recall his electronic efforts on such scores as CHERRY 2000 and NO MAN’S LAND.
