The Royal Scottish National Orchestra powerfully articulates the eloquent Symphony No.13, and a revelatory recording of the English Suite No.4 displays Brian"s most approachable style from the early 1920s. The program is completed by the scampering, tuneful overture The Tinker"s Wedding.
