A five-disc set of Russian Soviet-era recordings by the recently deceased American pianist Van Cliburn. Set includes solo work and many of the greatest piano concerti of the Romantic-era, including a live performance of the Tchaikovsky First Piano Concerto recorded less than a week after his legendary 1958 First Prize win at the First International Tchaikovsky competition.
