Brand Alarm Lock

The Alarm Lock Pilfergard surface mount keypad-controlled door alarm supports up to 3 user entry codes of 3 to 5 digits to arm or disarm an alarm siren, is for installation on interior doors, and has a metallic silver finish. The alarm is for use with a mortise leverset (sold separately). The alarm can be manually programmed through the keypad for 3 entry codes (master, management, and passage), and 3 security levels that limit the time the door may be open before the alarm sounds.. The alarm unit and a magnetic sensor align on the door and door frame to detect when the door is opened and activate the siren when armed to signal an attempted breach. The alarm can monitor multiple doors by wiring a series of reed switches (sold separately) to its terminal block. The Piezo electronic sounder can be selected to emit a sweep, steady, or pulsing siren, at low or high volume to 95 decibels. The trim is made of stainless steel with a metallic silver finish to resist corrosion. The alarm can be installed with a remote keypad to provide functions from the opposite side of the door (sold separately). The alarm is powered by a single 9V battery (included), or may be wired for external power through its terminal block.SpecificationsUnique user codes supported3 (Master, Management, and Passage)Number of digits each code3 to 6Security levels3 (1, 2, or 3)Siren95 dB at 10 feetOperation9V battery or external powerDimensions9 x 2-1/2 x 2-3/8 inches/22.8 x 6.3 x 6.8 cm (H x W x D) Access control keypads for doors limit entry to authorized users. The door remains locked until a recognized code is entered through the numeric keypad and returns to the locked state when the door is closed after passage. Many units include a leverset with a lock mechanism for key override to bypass the keypad. The lock mechanism may be a fixed key cylinder installed by the manufacturer, or it may accept an interchangeable core that can be replaced if security is compromised. A cylindrical lock mechanism requires two bored perpendicular holes in the door for installation, one in the door face and a crossbore hole in the door edge. A mortise lock mechanism fits into a pocket recess in the door edge. Alarm Lock Systems manufactures mechanical and electronic access controls for secure entry and egress.
