Long-lasting stainless steel bristles line one side of the curved cleaning head and can be used while the grill is hot; the other side is lined with a tough plastic cleaning pad, for use on cool grills. The steel scraper on the top gets off all kinds of baked-on food debris, but is not meant for use on porcelain cooking grids as scratching can occur.
