The thick, flexible blue crepe paper backing prevents bleed-through or edge creep and the special formulated acrylic adhesive is ultraviolet resistant, permitting residue-free removal. Clean Release is meant to be used on a cured, painted surface. Unfinished wood is too porous for the tape to stick properly. Ideally the temperature should be at least 50F.
