This SiliconSeal™ weatherstrip is applied to the perimeter of a door frame to slow / prohibit the passage of smoke, fire, weather, sound and dirt. It is crafted from high quality silicone rubber that has great compressions and will not impede with the door operation. Ideal for doors in homes, hotels, dormitories, nursing facilities, hospitals, government facilities and more requiring protection from weather conditions and to minimize heat loss. Available in six colors and in various sized coils. This adhesive perimeter gasket is extruded from high temperature silicone, effective between -58°F and 450°F. It is self-extinguishing and non-toxic, and is unaffected by sunlight, ozone and ultraviolet rays. It is impervious to fungus and mildew and will not deteriorate under normal exposure, making it an ideal choice for exterior doors. It is easily installed with a self-adhesive backing, manufactured from the best acrylic adhesive for secure application. The compression bulb reduces friction and helps absorb the doors closing impact and requires an extremely low latching and closing force. The seal begins compression at 1/4" and compresses to a seal up to 1/16". This gasket has a limited shelf-life. Product must be used within 6 months of purchase and must be stored between 50°F and 100°F.
