EAN/UPC/ISBN Code 608819890067

2 Ounces of Ultra GREEN Glow in the Dark Powder with particle size ranging from 30-45 microns. It mix very well with both solvent and water based mediums (see list below). It is not soluble, heavier then water, odorless and pale light green/off white in daylight. It needs a medium firm enough to hold the pigment in place. When fully charged this powder will glow at 3620 mcd/m2 after 1 minute and around 110 mcd/m2 after 1 hour. It will charge by any UV light from the higher spectrum such as sunlight or a white light bulb. It also glows under specially designed black lights. It is highly temperature resistant from -20°C to 1960°C or -4°F to 3560°F. Most glow powder available today cannot withstand heat this high, without damaging the pigment particles. This pigment is the latest generation of Glow in the Dark (Phosphorescent) powder made from Strontium Aluminate doped with rare earth elements Dysprosium and Europium. Europium is the most reactive earth element ever discovered. It can give an astonishing glow time for as long as up to 30 hours, which puts it at the cutting edge of Phosphorescent technology. It is 100% reliable, both non-radioactive and non-toxic, not flammable plus it is environment friendly. Shelf life of 10+ years. Most people unfamiliar with Phosphorescent materials have unrealistic expectations of how it performs. When fully charged all glow powders will produce a bright glow for a short time, then level off to a moderate level of glow, slowly dimming over the remainder of their glow duration. The length of time a glow powder is said to "glow" is defined as the time it takes for the afterglow brightness to diminish to 0.32 mcd (0.32 mcd is 100 times the Human visible perception limit). Even at this level, the glow is clearly visible in darkness.Glow Powder can be used with paint (solvent & acrylic), plastic, ceramics, ink, glass etc. It can used to make various glow products, safety applications, automotive and marine industry.
