HALL DULCIMER NOTERS Hall dulcimer noters are made of borosylicate glass (Pyrex) with beautiful kiln-fired Celtic decorations. Glass noters produce a unique hammered sound and have a "fast" action compared to wooden noters. Glass noters produce a bright sound and you hear distinctive sliding tones. They are not quiet and not meant to replace your wooden noters. With some songs you will prefer a quiet wooden noter, while other songs will be enhanced by the percussive sound of glass and will add a whole new dimensions to your dulcimer playing.
