As a result, when you paint, a ghost image of the bar can appear in your artwork as the canvas presses against wooden bar with each brush stroke. We recommend cross bracing any dimension over 36-inch. Cross bracing prevents bowing of the wood and helps keep your artwork square and flat over time.
