The group"s second release picks up where their debut recording "Forest Through the Trees" left off as they pay tribute to the jazz tradition while, at the same time, expanding upon it. The recording features nine more original compositions by Phil Mosberg and intense improvisations by each member of the Quartet. This time out the ensemble has learned to be more consise with their interpretations while still allowing for maximum group interplay throughout their thoughtful, inspired improvisations.
