All you need to to do is loosen the bolt on your passenger seat and fasten the bracket. It will sit at a perfect angle for viewing.Installation takes 5 minutes with no drilling! Wanna mount your radio in the car but cannot access the seat bolt? Additional hardware is included if you want to permanently attach this using screws right to the floor.Mounting is a fairly simple operation. You will need mounting bracket such as the YSK-8900 (this is not included) or MB-63 (also not included). Our mount includes a standard AMPS mounting pattern. Most Yaesu and ICOM mounting kits fit fine, but in a few you may need to have a few holes drilled thru it to fit the AMPS pattern, and after you do that, the fit is very clean.
