The 9th volume in the CEU Medievalia Series is an annotated catalogue that contains thorough descriptions of the fifty-six Slavonic cyrillic codices or fragments thereof held by the National Szechenyi Library in Budapest, the vast majority of which are here described for the first time. Written from the thirteenth to early nineteenth century, there were mostly produced within the confines of the historical Kingdom of Hungary. The editors, renowned specialists of medieval and early modern Cyrillic manuscripts, are all visiting lecturers at the Central European University. The catalogue has been produced using the resources of modern technology and is extensively illustrated. It is a further step towards the complete documentation of the Cyrillic manuscript heritage of Central Europe.
