Braided dacron is a staple of serious fisherman. Dacron is mildew and rot resistant, and woodstock waterproofs and Heat Sets the line to reduce stretch. Used by long range fishermen for Tuna and other big fish, and by bottom fisherman bringing up Cod and Rockfish.
