This "supercharged" sealed drag system is surrounded by a bulletproof structure machined from solid bar stock aluminum. The innovative reel foot design improves the casting balance of the rod by moving the center of the reel closer to the center of gravity of the casting stroke. It also reinforces the strength of the reel at this key point.
