In the tradition of Sub Pop"s vinyl debut, the 1986 compilation, Sub Pop 100, which championed artists such as Sonic Youth, Wipers and the U-Men, and 1988"s Sub Pop 200, which we stuffed with our friends and their bands (having friends like Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney didn"t hurt), Sub Pop 1000 is a limited-edition compilation of what we feel are some vital artists. Sub Pop 1000 is comprised entirely of unreleased and exclusive tracks.
