When 12-year-old Amber climbs a tree, the squirrels of Upper Forest believe they are being invaded--all but young Woodbine, who forges a bond with Amber. When Lower Foresters become alarmed by squirrel swarms, Amber and Woodbine combine forces to bring hope to the shadows of the Forest.
