Cleaning acrylic nail brushes is a fairly easy task. Moulting or shedding hairs from a new brush is a normal process. Once the brush is broken in and following a few application sessions the moulting will stop. Always thoroughly rinse a new brush with brush cleaner or liquid monomer before first use. Also make sure to use only one brush for a product line; don"t use it for two different acrylic products. This goes for odorless as well. Pulling on the bristles will also damage the brush and the shape, so make sure you don"t pull them when cleaning. If there is already dried acrylic in the brush, it is best to purchase a new one. 1. Fill a small dish with clean monomer. 2.Place the brushes in the monomer, and let them soak for one hour. 3.Remove the brushes, and rinse with hot water. Rub a drop of liquid dish soap into the brushes if the brushes have lost their form. Let sit for 48 hours. 4.Rinse the brushes with hot water, allow to air dry, and place in a fresh dish of monomer to soak for two hours. 5.Take the brushes out of the monomer.
