Dance Director George Liebman praises Jill Cantori"s dance talent, advises her to train. Jill prevails on single Mom, Ellen Cantori, to drive her to classes. George offers her a part in a show, but she"s a poor student, distracted by pot, sex and parties, and in danger of failing. Angry Mom grounds Jill; no dance, dates or parties, only study, study. Jill gets back on studies track, but boyfriend, Roy Daniel tricks her away for an overnight. In a load of surprises, it"s even money whether Jill will make it back to passing grades and dance.
