The TEAM DAIWA pilk rod features a strong backbone and tip action to buffer the headbuttts of cod & Co. All rods of this series are equipped with a slim carbon fiber blank, which features excellent handling - but provides also enough power reserves to lift big fish up to the surface without compromise. The FUJITM K guides prevent line tanglings reliably - even under cross wind conditions. The 7.50m version with a casting weight up to 300g is ideally suitable for heavy sea fishing in Norway or Iceland for halibuts and big cods - XL soft plastic lures with heavy jig heads can be presented lifelike by this one-piece rod (removable EVA handle). The 7.50 ft version with a casting weight up to 100g has been developed for fishing with soft plastic lures and lightweight pirks - the ideal rod for fishing in the Baltic Sea from small boats.
