Back Porch Mary is often referred to as an Alt. Country Rock Band; however, one listen to each of their CDs will reveal that this band is not trying to fit into any pre-defined category. They will, however, acknowledge a love for Honky Tonk, Rock, Rock-a-Billy, Punk, Country, Bluegrass, and just about every other type of American Music.
