Herb growing 1-3 feet most commonly used as a culinary ingredient in Mexican cuisine (especially bean dishes and Chili sauces). It was historically used in cooking by the Mayans and Aztecs. The fresh leaves are recommended for cooking for a better flavor. Medicinal qualities of Epazote include; anti-tumor, anti-spasmodic properties, stomach aches and colds.
