The SL-6053 Motion light set uses Radio Frequency (RF) to create wireless, motion controlled On/Off switching for incandescent loads up to 300 watts. The included Motion Sensor Transmitter uses Dual-Brite technology and detects motion in a 240-degree pattern, which can extend out as far as 100 feet. The included In-Wall Dimmer Switch Receiver will replace your existing wall switch. It will use the same wires as well as a neutral. If the existing switch used only two wires, this neutral may not be in the switch box. Controlled by RF signals sent from the Motion Sensor Transmitter, the Remote In-Wall Dimmer Switch Receiver can be located up to 100 feet away. The switch receiver allows manual operation of the connected light, providing On/Off functions, and allowing the bulb to dim with 5 different light levels. Housed on both, the In-Wall Dimmer Switch Receiver, and the Motion Sensor Transmitter, is user selectable dip switches. These dip-switches are used for coding each device with the proper Radio Frequency (RF) signal. It is imperative that both Receiver and Transmitter are set to the same code for proper operation. This feature also allows the use of multiple kits in the same local area without interfering or triggering one another. Battery-operated, the Motion Sensor Transmitter uses Two AAA batteries (Sold Separately).
