If you plan to use the Hellcat Shoe with SPD pedals, you"ll simply need to remove the cleat pocket cover and replace it with your cleat, clip in and go. The stiff-but-sensitive shank that provides a solid pedaling platform without taking away from pedal feel or the natural flex of the shoe. A Velcro ankle strap beefs up the already-beefy ankle support for a firm-but-natural fit.
