Sandwiched between the South China, Sulu and Celebes Seas, Borneo is the third biggest island in the world and also the only island which is home to three nations: Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. Its biodiversity is also one of the greatest in the world, with tropical rainforest and rivers covering over 70 percent of Malaysian Borneo and hundreds of unique flora and fauna species. Despite extensive destruction of its rainforests over the past couple of decades, Borneo remains a floating natural paradise of tropical rainforest, jungle and wild animals.
