First and foremost, the seat features removable/interchangeable molded foam pads so you can mix and match colors, thicknesses, and foam density to fine tune your seat in a way you never could before. The pads attach to the independent framework for the seat with over 150 square inches of industrial strength Velcro. Secondly, the seat bottom can be completely removed, allowing the seat back to function as a high-backed, fully adjustable back band system. Additionally, the removable foam pads feature a newly designed seamless radius edge treatment for lasting durability and a sleek look and feel. These rounded edges don"t need the traditional binding material and allow the foam surface a frameless "wall to wall" comfort that is traditionally reserved for high-end home furnishings.In addition to our patented blends of laminated molded foam (EVA foam face and a 600 denier high density fabric/foam laminate) that offer superior cushion and support, the Transformer has a high density polyethylene skeleton laminated with 1580 denier ballistic fabric. The independent frame system curves to accommodate your lumbar area, providing firm but flexible support for the entire back.The Transformer prominently features the Speed Clip. The Speed Clip is light, durable (comprised of fiberglass filled high-density molded plastic), easy to use, and won"t scratch your boat, car, trailer or anything else.The triangulated fore and rear strapping system features a total of eight contact points with the seat and six micro-adjustable lock-glides, resulting in a no-slip setup that you can adjust on-the-water and tune to your specific paddling or angling needs. We"ve also included accessory clips so that you can add one of several pack options to this lightweight, innovative, modular seat and back band system.
