The Nupla Ergo Power Michigan Double Bit Axe has a steel head with a blade on each end for maintaining a sharp edge and a 36" long fiberglass handle that is reinforced with resin for strength and durability. The handle is covered with an injection-molded polypropylene sleeve to contain any fracture of the fiberglass core and has an integrated grip for a secure hold with or without gloves.
