This hoe was specially designed to aid in fighting forest/brush fires and reforestation work. Much like a maddock, this hoe will make lighter work of the tougher outdoor tasks. The heft and sharpness of this hoe enables the user to chop through roots and trench through tough sod much more easily than with conventional garden hoes. The main features of this hoe are a tempered and polished, sharpened high carbon steel blade and a 52" long handle made of clear ash. A hoe designed to hold up under the most vigorous tasks.
