Built from oak, the BEST Kate Palmer Taboret is a massive storage unit that offers great flexibility. The top work surfact slides forward to be used as a desk, or backward to create a flat work area with a central melamine surface that measures 27 x 20 inches. Both sides of the taboret are accessible- the 5 bottom drawers measure 46 x 26 x 2.5 inches and can be pulled from either direction. One side has 2 large cubbies, the other has 3 drawers.
