On the second day of the Gulf War, Lt. Col. Cliff Acree was shot down behind Iraqi lines. Back home, his wife was suddenly thrust into an international media storm. She appeared strong, but feared she would never see Cliff alive again. Eventually they were reunited and determined to return to normality, but their struggles were not over.
