This book aims to re-introduce the Goddess to Jews and Christians for whom she has been absent. It has been inspired by devotion to the Shekhinah, the feminine aspect of the Jewish God, whose role is to find fomr for the divine presence on earth. The contributions to this book, historical, imaginative, theoretical, are by Jews and Christians, for whom the Goddess has begun to return, named or unnamed, formed or formless, through spiritual struggle, visionary experience, theological study, psychological exploration and insight.
