Pituitary diseases such as hyperprolactinemia, Cushing"s disease and growth hormone disturbances, entail a significant degree of pyschological distress and invalidism. This text aims to provide an updated survey of the main psychological problems which patients with pituitary diseases may encounter, using case studies to illustrate different areas and problems.
