Rather than copying paintings of old masters, Claude Monet preferred to paint in the open air and this collection of some of his finest works in poster format shows his love of landscape painting. Monet founded the Impressionist style of painting; the movement being named after one of his early works entitled Impression, Sunrise (soleil levant).
