Evoking memories not only of Piaf Lynn Dietrich but also of anera; of a world tearing itself a apart in conflicts of huge and terrible ideasthis is new music arising from the memory of the old. It is a statement aboutlove and war about the legacy of Fascism and the unquenchable spirit ofthe individual. First recorded in 1994 this is the newly remastered versionof the work that launched the Australian Art Orchestra all those years ago.
