Ah, the "80s. Gene loved Jezebel; Berlin was more a band than a city; folks of all races and creeds would gather together on weekends to Wang Chung. Those hazy, lazy days are commemorated in Geffen Vintage 80s, Volume 1. As the title implies, this is only Geffen stuff (Madness, Debbie Harry, Stan Ridgway, Plimsouls, Ric Ocasek, a half-dozen others), so you get your Quarterflash singing "Take Me to Heart" but no Pat Benatar singing "We Live for Love."
