Award-Winning Architecture 96: International Yearbook

EAN/UPC/ISBN Code 9783791316765

This is the first volume of a yearbook in which prize-winning architectural structures from all over the world are presented. It is a reference work for architects, students, city planners, and clients who want up-to-date information at a glance about the architectural trends emerging the world over and about the buildings and architects honoured each year in these countries. The prizes featured in the yearbook are not those funded privately or by industry, but those awarded by each country"s association of architects. The yearbook"s patron is the Union Internationale des Architectes. In this volume, some 40 outstanding buildings and structures, arranged alphabetically by country, are documented in photographs and plans. The second part of the yearbook contains tables with pictograms of about 100 buildings and some 100 further award-winning structures, complete with technical data. Finally, an index of architects and building commissions, and a list of the architectural organizations responsible for the prizes, make this yearbook up-to-date.
