Old & New Testaments Concluded: The Word in the Hellenistic World
A four year program designed to give those who participate in it a thorough knowledge of every book of the Bible, as well as the ability to teach and communicate it to others; uses critical and historical approaches and a wide range of teaching methods from lectures and written homework, to small group sharing and creative activities. Old and New Testaments Concluded, The Word in the Hellenistic World examines the fascinating experience of both Jews and Christians as they establish and maintain their identity in the Greco-Roman world. This year of study covers many of the most neglected books of the Bible the wisdom literature, many other later writings (which some Christians and Jews do not include in their Bible) and the New Testament letters that Paul did not write.
