The "Exploring English" series has been specially developed to take account of the ROSE syllabus for Grades 7-9. As well as sections on Standard English grammar and usage, a further unit concerns the expressive qualities of Jamaican Creole, and students are encouraged to operate smoothly across the language continuum as the context requires. Many forms of communication, from traditional to modern, and encompassing oral, visual, tactile and kinetic approaches, are examined in depth.
