General purpose high speed steel (HSS), fractional, 3/8" reduced shank, jobber length drill bits. Bit is constructed of M 1 HSS for the best combination of strength, heat resistance, and wear resistance. Shank is reduced to 3/8" to fit in a 3/8" drill.
