Caesar"s Place was a favorite of Hollywood celebrities. One night, a record number of patrons descended on the restaurant. Realizing he would be short of fresh vegetables, Caesar Cardini concocted a salad that awed all of the hungry guests. Thus, the Caesar salad was born. Cardini"s continues its tradition of quality with its line of specialty salad dressings, light salad dressings and croutons.
