Los Angeles Dreaming Dead are a quickly rising force in extreme metal, garnering significant national and international attention over the short two years the band has been together. Fronted and founded by singer/guitarist Elizabeth Schall, Dreaming Dead released their first recording in the summer of 2006: a four-song demo entitled Through the Eyes of Insanity under the previous band name of Manslaughter. The release received stellar reviews, allowing many to discover the band s blackened, death-thrash attack reminiscent of Death, Slayer, Cryptopsy, and Opeth. Fresh off the recording of their debut album Within One due out on Ibex Moon Records January 20th 2009 the band are already on tour across the U.S. Expect a busy year for Dreaming Dead.
