To be in Bryce Canyon National Park is to confront a spectacular landscape and fascinating geological features. The quality of your encounter is directly proportional to the amount of time spent in the presence of these "features". It seems a great injustice to tarry but briefly at a viewpoint along the Bryce Amphitheater because this Park is much, much more than just magnificent features. It is a delicate arrangement of wildlife, plants, geology and human history.
