Guisando is the first album in which Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe shared in credits and appeared together on the cover. Each song is excellent in its own right. It exemplifies what classic salsa is all about, with the powerful voice of Héctor Lavoe backing up the band. At a young age this duo made sure that this album stuck to their street roots from NYC, influenced by the hardcore blend of the good Salsa rhythms of Puerto Rico. This album is a collectors item.
